I wanted to take a moment today to give a shout-out to my friend, Adam Lashinsky, an author and Doer who has written a very relevant and compelling article on the epic struggle between Alibaba and Tencent. His article goes in-depth about the clash of these two internet titans, whose market capitalizations may top nearly a trillion U.S. dollars.
This is an important article I want to share with all the Doers out there. It is critically important for every business leader to understand how this struggle will play out, no matter whether your business is big or small. The ramifications of this tech-titan battle is much farther reaching than just China.
Lashinsky’s article covers everything about both Alibaba and Tencent—from their culture, leadership, and growth plans, to giving much needed context for how this all came together and how it might impact the future of the digital economy.
